Saut D'eau

Saut D'eau, Créole for "waterfall", is an area that holds cultural significance in Haiti, to both Catholic and Voodoo practitioners. It was believed that in the 19th century, the Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel appeared on a tree, and since then, the waterfall is believed to be a sacred place. During the month of July, many worshipers make a pilgrimage to Saut D'eau to ask the Virgin Mary for her blessings and healing.

Come and join us on a visit to this breathtaking waterfall, surrounded by lush greenery, then cool off in the falls as you absorb its history and significance.

Cost: USD $120 (includes transport, guide, lunch, beverage and entry)
